Paraguay Update
Continue to pray for John Sappia’s mother (Ida), who was hospitalized recently. Doctors have discovered two hernias, one of which is inoperable. The doctors are planning to surgically remove the other hernia, which is obstructing her digestive system, Wednesday, October 12. Pray for strength for Ida during the surgery and wisdom for the doctors as they operate, along with a swift recovery.
Thailand
This has been the wettest rainy season in the last 30 years in Thailand, causing much flooding throughout the country that has damaged houses, businesses, and farmland. Still more storms are expected to hit northeastern Thailand, where Friends of Isaan minister. Pray that the flood waters will subside and the rains will stop. EQ has specifically asked for people to pray that the rain will stop so that the mushroom business will be able start well.
