Allliance Pray Request, July 22, 2012

Pray for God’s comfort for the family and friends of Lorinda Mae Robinson, who entered the Lord’s presence on Thursday, July 19, 2012, after a year-long battle with cancer. Lorinda is survived by her parents, Dorman and Florence, and her brother and sister. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4.

Syria
Continue to pray for peace in Syria, where hundreds of families have fled to neighboring countries since the country’s unrest began in March 2011. Pray that God will protect His people and end the violence. Also, pray that believers will demonstrate Christ’s love and that God will be glorified in this situation.

Creative-Access Countires

Remember creative-access (CAC) workers around the world. Pray for protection, good health, and opportunities to share the good news. Pray that contacts will be drawn to Jesus. Pray that God will break down strongholds and give courage and boldness to national believers.

Continue to pray that God will provide a good, reliable vehicle for a CAC couple. They will need to purchase one in the next two weeks or so, because they will no longer have a car to use after that time. “Pray that God will lead us to just the right vehicle for us,” they write.
