Saturday, November 13 Star Trek The Exhibition at McClellan AFB Air Museum
This is the largest collection of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on public display. Come aboard the bridge of the Starship Enterprise, sit in the Captain’s chair, see the actual props and costumes. Enjoy one-of-a-kind displays, interactive kiosks, rare photo opportunities and unique adventures. The cost is $14.00. Meet at the church 9:15 to carpool or meet at the museum at 10:00 AM. Rusty Bloomquist is our host. If you would like to, he invites you to join him at the Golden Corral Buffet for lunch afterward. It is located at 4940 Watt Ave, near the museum.
Because of Thanksgiving, there will be no PEP dinner this month.
Sunday, December 12, 5 pm The PEP Christmas Banquet is our biggest event of the year with a full dinner of turkey, ham, etc. We will have a great musical program by Becca Coloma. She has led a Hymn sing for us and was on the musical team in Pastor Gaube’s former church. Her singing, piano settings and Carol leading skills will lift your spirits. It will be held at the Clubhouse of Mobil Country Park at end of Zinfandel. Start thinking of friends you can bring with you for this great evening. More information coming soon.
