February brings lots of talk about love. But how do you act when you love? Most people think of feelings rather than actions. Yet feelings provide only shifting sand on which to build a love relationship.
The Bible talks a lot about love. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT) we find a succinct description of love. I find it helpful and frankly challenging. Check your “love” by this picture of love.
Love is patient and kind. To love someone is to bear with their troublesome traits – to give them time to think through their response. It also means we will treat them with kindness.
